Making its fifth appearance, the Great Vegas Gridiron Grill-Off BBQ & Tailgate Festival is part of an outdoor lifestyle series of events, at the Downtown Las Vegas Event Center (DLVEC) across from the D Hotel, in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 4 - 6, 2014 brought to you by Smoke on the Water Productions.

Considered one of the world's richest contest with a guaranteed purse of $50,000, the Kansas City Barbeque Society sanctioned Gridiron Grill-Off Champion's purse of $10,000 is also one the largest on the competition circuit. We're spreading the love by paying top ten overall and through twenty places in all four categories.

"The Gridiron Grill-Off will bring the world's best barbecue teams to Las Vegas," said Ron Cates, event organizer. "Even though there is big money up for grabs, it's really about more than that; it's about respect among their peers.
