Virginia City goes nuts for St. Patrick's Day! Each year more than 3,000 people sack up in this historic town where more than 20 cooks compete in one of Northern Nevada's most popular tasting contests. These cooks serve up tasty testes all day long, competing for fame and glory as one of the best Rocky Mountain Oyster cooks in the West. Enjoy all the Irish festivities throughout town, including the St. Patrick's Day Parade down C Street at noon.

Follow the rainbow and find your pots of gold! Get your Ball Breaker Saloon Crawl cup for a limited time and avoid the lines. With your cup, get your first beer free at the main event bar. Take your cup to participating saloons and sample a variety of specialty drinks that only the great saloons of Virginia City pour. All crawl participants receive discounts on full specialty drink orders. Visit all the saloons and be entered into the grand prize drawing. Drawing takes place at 5 p.m. at the main Oyster Fry tent.
