The 35th annual Chili on the Comstock features a Fun with the Runs 5k and the Fireball Saloon Crawl. Enjoy flavorful varieties of chili and of course plenty of cold, refreshing beer to wash it all down. Taking place along C Street, the event hosts more than 30 of the best chili cooks in the west all competing for a spot in the International Chili Society World Finals.

Take one step back in time and two strides forward for Virginia Citys 4th annual Fun with the Runs 5K May 20. The race begins at 10 a.m. on C Street, the towns main drag and continues through landmarks and ends when you smell the remnants of the sweet Chili on the Comstock. Whether you walk, jog or run the 5K, we encourage everyone to dress in costume and enjoy the beautiful mountainside that is Virginia City.
