The Reno Art Fest 2018, our second year in Reno, will be held on Virginia Street, between 4th and 6th Sttreets, in downtown Reno on June 30 - July 1, 2018. Please note that the dates and venue for this event are different than last year.

Reno Art Fest 2018 will feature numerous artist tents whose original work of 2 and 3 dimensional fine art includes acrylics a full spectrum of the arts including oils and watercolors paintings, photography, ceramics, glass, stone and metal sculptures, and wood and clay pieces. Artists will be on-site to discuss their work available for purchase. Cash prizes of $3,750 will be awarded. Local artists will be featured in addition to 40+ artists from different regions in collaboration with CWB Events. There will be an artist reception at Artech on Friday, June 29 from 5pm-7pm. The public is invited to an exciting, interactive "After Party" 7:30-10 pm with a no-host bar, art cars, fire-spinning, DJs and dancing.

Situated on North Virginia Street between 4th and 6th streets in Reno, the event will be open from 10:00am - 6:00pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Admission and parking are free to the public and participants with a variety of local food trucks, wine and beer concession also available. The Reno Art Fest is presented by CWB Events, in conjuction with the Artech, a local non-profit organization.

Live entertainment to include a special "Children's Creative Zone" with hula hoops, balloons, bubbles, face painting, puppets and interactive art projects for children and adults of all ages.

Live entertainment (to be announced) will appear on Saturday and Sunday between 12:00 and 6:00pm. Northern Nevada's Controlled Burn will also perform on Saturday evening at 8:00 pm. The event will conclude on Sunday, July 1 at 6pm with a celebratory parade ending at Wingfield Park, as a kick off to Artown. We have changed the date from last years August event in order to collaborate with Artown. Artown, a month-long summer arts festival, features about 500 events produced by more than 100 organizations and businesses in nearly 100 locations citywide. Artown's primary goal is to encourage local artist participation and highlight the best performers in northern Nevada. As the kick off event Reno Art Fest will be part of the marketing and promotion regionally, and nationally as part of this premier arts festival which should dramatically add to attendance.
